Lucy McKenzie received the 1999 EASTaward in Norwich, the year she graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone as a BA student. This exhibition includes Sublet, McKenzie’s interaction with fashion designer and textile printmaker Beca Lipscombe. Lucy McKenzie has made new vernacular drawings of Glasgow, a room of painted screens, illustrations for the Edinburgh periodical The One O’clock Gun, album artwork for Erasure and McKenzie’s record label Decemberism. Her second link with Norfolk is her forthcoming Decemberism recording with Cosey Fanni Tutti.

This exhibition marks her move from Glasgow to live in Brussels. She has shown at the Tate twice recently, in the new art room and the 2006 Tate Triennial. Her work was shown in Parkett Summer 2006 and Artforum December 2006. She is represented by Cabinet London Daniel Buchholz Köln Metro Pictures New York.
