For this commission, Christopher Landoni has made a life size bronze skeleton. Landoni's project was brought about by a similar and perhaps more ambitious plan, in which he hoped to make a life size sculpture of The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. The premise for his new idea is reminiscent of Holbein's woodcut, The Young Ones, in which a skeleton dances with a tambourine in front of two young lovers.

The commission is a direct progression from Borderline Log, which Landoni produced for EASTinternational 2003, a work consisting of a dark tree trunk inlayed with live carnivorous plants. Shown together with large dreamlike images, painted black on black, a narrative was formed that reflected on 'the uncanny at large', and art history as a reservoir of what does not exist.
